SEOquake is a useful, and completely free, plugin for your web browser that will give you a wealth of SEO research data with a single click.
Currently available for browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera, SEOquake can be placed on your toolbar and called up with a single click to give an instant analysis of the page you are currently displaying.
Along with useful organic research data, clicking on the appropriate tab in the pop up analysis box and SEOquake provides a number of other useful tools including an SEO Audit, a Keyword Density report, Internal/External Link analysis and a number of useful social media metrics.
SEOquake can also operate on your serps listing – when enabled you can analyse each page that is shown in the results with the relevant metrics appearing before each listing – very useful when carrying out your research into competitor web sites. This function can turn a very long-winded and time-consuming task into one which need only take seconds!
Some of the metrics you can see with SEOquake include Google Index (how many pages the site in indexed on Google for), Alexa Rank, SEMrush Rank, Facebook likes and many more. You simply display these metrics in the serps and then easily compare one site against all the others that re listed with it.
SEOquake gives you fast access to a host of analytical data about any webpage. Simply by clicking on the SEOquake symbol on the toolbar you can navigate to any landing page and are get analytical data specific to that page. The SEOquake SERP Overlay populates your SERP listings with data specific to each result.
SEOquake’s superb SEO Audit feature will “audit” any given landing page and advise you of any technical issues it finds on that page. Another useful page optimisation tool, the Keyword Density tool analyses landing pages by keyword which helps to to reveal your competitor’s target keywords.
The Internal and External Link reports provided will help you to find the links on any given landing page – this can reveal the navigation tactics and linking partnerships that are being used by your competitors and which you may be able to adapt for your own campaign.
